Set Up Your Screening Station

For the optimal client experience, we recommend that you
set-up a Kinotek station.

Instructions:

Recording Tips

  • Follow movement instructions in camera manager.

  • Best environment is a blank wall behind the subject.

  • Shoes are permissible. If worn, stay consistent on future screens.

  • Prep your subject to move by counting "3, 2, 1, Go" for each movement.

  • Thoracolumbar-Flexion: Subject must stand at a 45° angle to the camera with hands on hips.

  • Lunge L/R: Subject must stand at a 60° angle to the camera. The lunging leg must be furthest from the camera.

Things to Avoid

  • Baggy clothing (white and tight is best)

  • Black medical masks

  • Black socks

  • Large heeled shoes

  • Long, heavy beards

  • Windows in background

  • Prominent reflections and direct sunlight into the camera.

  • Choose a 10' x 5' spot for your Kinotek Screening Station that gives your client enough space to perform each movement.

  • NOTE: There are two versions of the FLOOR GUIDANCE MAT. For optimal results, follow the placement instructions printed on the top edge of your mat. Depending on the version, position the mat either 3 feet or 5 feet from the tripod.
